Here is a collection of my “FAVORITE” things that I have encountered on this journey, whether it be a type of workout, gym, meal, tip, piece of equipment or resource. Let me know what you think!

FAVORITE #1.  – www.myfitnesspal.com

Keeping a Food Diary Can Double Your Weight Loss

MyFitnessPal saves you the trouble of carrying around a notepad and pen to track your calories. Log your foods on our website or mobile apps, and your calories are seamlessly synced between them. There’s no math to do – we add everything up for you and keep track of how many calories you have left.You don’t need expensive gym equipment or memberships to lose weight – you just need to keep track of what you eat.

FAVORITE #2. : My favorite workout class

6:45p – 7:30p    Mix It Up Step

This class is a high energy workout done to house music. It is a mix of step aerobics, kickboxing dance and plyo-cardio. There are usually 50-70 people participating at once and it is an amazing and fun workout. The music, crowd and instructor push you to your limit and beyond. It can be frustraing at first as you learn the steps and the routine, but after a couple of classes, you will become hooked for sure. FAVORITE #3 . – THE FITBIT

Fitbit makes every step you take a step toward better fitness, even on your busiest days. Fitbit Ultra’s super sensitive 3-D motion sensor tracks your day down to details a pedometer can’t catch, showing your exact steps taken, calories burned, and distance traveled. The new altimeter tracks floors climbed so you can monitor this heart-healthy activity, encouraging you to take the stairs at home or work, or climb a little further on your next hike. The fitbit also monitors sleep patterns. It links to various other calorie trackes such as myfitnesspal, to help you keep up with your calorie goals for the day. It is awesome and I love it.

FAVORITE #4 . – My favorite in-home work out system: TurboFire

I absolutely love the choreography, music and motivation from Chalene. This is a  super intense cardio system designed to be done in 90 days. It’s my favorite exercise DVD thus far. It is addictive.
